ABOUT ME
Meet Camilla
Get to know more about my journey, and what led me to having a deep passion for supporting family health.
“You and I don’t end at our fingertips or skin – we are connected through air, water, and soil… we are quite literally, air, water, soil, energy and other living creatures.”
David Suzuki
I am both a clinically trained Nutritional Therapist registered with ANP and CNHC, and a certified Medical Intuitive Practitioner registered with IICT.
I love working with families to support their overall health and vitality. I am especially called to support families who have experienced or are going through a big life challenge that rocks the very foundations of the family. Being a mum who has experienced the sudden death of her son, I know what it’s like to hit rock bottom, to merely exist to carry out parental duties and sink back down into the void of grief. To feel shattered and overwhelmed with busy family life.
When you work with me, I make sure that you feel deeply held and heard as your journey unravels. All my recommendations are realistic and tailored to your family situation so you feel deeply supported at all times.
I truly believe syncing with Nature and good nutrition is fundamental to our ability to thrive and flourish in the world we live in today and it doesn’t need to be overly complicated.
My focus
My approach focuses on creating a safe space for you and your child to feel deeply supported. As I listen to your story, together we can uncover the root causes of your or your child’s symptoms. I’m pragmatic and realistic (being a Mum of three children) and all my recommendations are evidence-based. Following a 90min initial appointment, I provide you with a clear personalised easy to follow health plan which outlines specific nutrition, lifestyle, and therapeutic supplemental measures to empower you to support your or your child’s journey back to health. This is followed with shorter follow-up integration sessions so you feel supported to implement the health plan.
Common symptoms I support children in clinic with include:
bloating, constipation, IBS symptoms, recurrent infections, poor blood sugar balance, poor sleep, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ADHD, allergies, and intolerances including seasonal hay fever. Grief and overwhelm.

My journey
I have a communications background with over 20 years’ experience in the global healthcare, lifestyle and beauty sectors including a large part of my career at skincare experts Clarins and L’Oreal. I also have a BA Hons in History of Art and Architecture, and I am co-founder and trustee of SUDC UK, a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
My journey to Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy started back in 2015 following my son’s sudden and unexplained death.
I am married and have been blessed with four seemingly healthy children, a daughter and three sons. Our second son, Rex, was born in 2013 and joined busy family life. He was an easy-going baby and toddler and rarely visited the GP. Rex was 3 days off 22 months when he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly during an afternoon nap in 2015. The next day his older brother was admitted to the same hospital with a viral infection he’d been struggling with, to be monitored and the following day his older sister joined us in hospital. All three of my children were in hospital, one in the morgue and two in the paediatric ward, my entire world was falling apart. That same week I’d found out my mother had a mass on her pancreas which was later confirmed as terminal pancreatic cancer.
Rex’s sudden death led to a rapid spiritual awakening as I desperately tried to make sense of what had happened to our family.
As the weeks and months passed in a haze, I began to form a beautiful relationship with my son across time and space. I’d read a book called ‘The Light Between Us’ by Laura Lynn-Jackson and the imagery she portrayed so beautifully of how souls are connected via an eternal thread of light resonated deeply.
Only whilst sitting within the dark void of grief was I able to see the light beyond willing me forward into new chapters of my life.
Rex was taking me on a journey, handheld tightly in mine.
My first big cosmic nudge from him was to set up a charity to fund research into this little-known category of death, Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood and support other families affected by this tragedy. By joining forces with two other bereaved mothers, SUDC UK was born and affiliated with The SUDC Foundation in the US. (www.sudc.org.uk). Through further research with the SUDC RRC, we later discovered that influenza was detected in Rex’s lung cells, and this was probably the primary cause of death followed by Sudden Inflammatory Response Syndrome whereby the body is rapidly shut down.
We had an answer, but my appetite to learn more about the immune system had just begun.
“When you shut down your emotion, you’re also affecting your immune system, your nervous system. So, the repression of emotion, which is a survival strategy, then becomes a source of psychological illness later on”.
— Gabor Mate
Following the nudges
I became pregnant with my 4th child 6 months after Rex passed away. I was terrified about starting all over again, this time traumatised and worried about keeping my children healthy. Surely, I’d failed by not fulfilling my number one commitment as a mother ‘to keep my child safe’.
I turned to a Naturopath with over 25 years of experience supporting parents with their children’s health. She kept me sane in those pregnancy days teaching me the power of nutrition and the importance of supporting the gut for optimal immune health.
Our 4th child, and rainbow boy was born 6 weeks after my mother’s passing. Our Naturopath supported our family throughout this challenging period and empowered me to believe I could keep my children healthy and well.
I could finally begin to breathe again, and this led to my second big nudge, a deep dive into physical and metaphysical health.
I went back to college to study Biomedicine and then Naturopathic Nutrition on a 3-year Nutritional Therapy diploma at CNM. I also trained for 2-years with Emma Turton at Medical Intuition School to become a Meta-T Practitioner.
